We are really proud of our school meal provision here at Coppull Primary School and Nursery. Our catering manager, Mrs. Aspinall runs our kitchen which is independent of Lancashire County Council. This gives us the flexibility to plan a menu which suits our children as well as conforming to all of the healthy eating guidance. Our team bake as much as possible themselves. This includes pizzas, naan breads, cakes, pies and biscuits. Our meat is sourced and freshly prepared by a local butcher and the children always have access to a wide range of fruit and vegetables at our well stocked salad bar. We cater to all needs with daily vegetarian options always offered as well as those children who have food intolerances or allergies. 

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are all entitled to a free meal through the Universal Free School Meals scheme. Older children may also be entitled to a free means tested lunch if parents are in receipt of certain benefits. Our three weekly menus (attached) offer excellent value for money at £2.60 per day and children can book on for the entire week or specific days. Payments are made through our online system - SCOPay.
