Welcome to Chestnut class! 

I am Mrs Draper the class teacher.  

We are a mixed Year 3 and 4 class who try our best in everything that we do. We are resilient learners and understand that mistakes do happen and that we can learn from them in order to grow. We have an exciting year planned with topics such as the Revolting Romans, Greek Odyssey and Light It Up! We will also be learning how to play the ukulele in our music lessons and the Year 4 children will take part in swimming lessons later in the year. 

Key information: 

Homework will go out on a Friday and should be returned by the following Wednesday. 

Spellings will be set on Spelling Shed each Monday and should be practised ready for the spelling test the following Monday. 

Read4theStars has started again. Please can your child read at least 4 times per week. Their reading record should be returned each Friday morning. 

Water bottles: please can you ensure your child brings a water bottle to school each day so that they can stay hydrated.
