Welcome to Maple Class
Our teachers are Miss Parkinson (2 days) and Mrs Yates (3 days). In Year 3, we are beginning our journey into KS2 and will continue to grow and develop into happy, confident learners. Children are afforded a little more responsibility when they move into the juniors and we try to encourage them to have a little more independence. The school day is very busy with a varied timetable which is designed to encourage learning and enjoyment by all. We promote a growth mindset approach to learning and encourage all children to try their best and to have the confidence to have a go.
We are going to be learning about lots of exciting things this year including:
Revolting Romans- Learning about life in the Roman times.
Greek Odessey- Life in Ancient Greek times.
Light it Up-studying Florence Nightingale with a link to electricity in science.
