School continues to be open for key worker and vulnerable children as per government guidelines and this will continue for the near future whilst the country remains on lockdown. School will continue to open over the Easter holiday to enable parents in key roles to be able to continue working.
We have organised the staff in school to work on a rota system to ensure that we are minimising contact and in an attempt to keep staff and the children in our care as healthy and safe as possible.
The Government have published their list of key workers and school can only permit children who qualify under these guidelines. We ask however that this is only utilised where there is no alternative childcare provision as we want to keep both the children, our staff and their families safe.
We would like to thank everyone for their support and understanding and we hope the home schooling is going well. We are really enjoying seeing the photographs and hearing what you have all been getting up to so please continue to let us know via Class Dojo or Twitter.
If you are in receipt of free school meals, breakfast provision will continue to be provided on collection from school and the lunch voucher system is being set up ready for the start of the next half term.
It is obviously a very difficult time for everyone so please look after each other and stay safe.
